Irish made sheep – Bear Essentials

These Irish made sheep are a limited edition wooly plush sheep which are suitable for all ages. They are a great size of  30cm/11.8″ and are good play mates. While the head is made from shiny, soft plush, the body looks and feel like the wool of a sheep.

When Nico and Anke, both from Germany, visited Ireland for the first time and fell in love with the beautiful countryside and welcoming people of Co. Cavan. In 1984 they settled in the lovely countryside of Bawnboy to raise their family.
The strong Teddy Bear tradition in Germany had influenced Anke’s designs of handcrafted Mohair Bears. The Teddy Bear is usually the first gift we receive as a child and are treasured through out their lives. It is much more than a toy, it is a collectible item, increasing in value over the years and eventually becoming an heirloom, but most of all it is a friend for life.
