Fuinseog Woodland Crafts was set up in Co. Leitrim in 2001 by Niall Miller and Brenda McLoughlin.
Training and work in horticulture and woodland management led to a desire to highlight the beauty of a renewable resource too often taken for granted. Over the past eighteen years, working with small-dimension native Irish woods eg hazel, willow, ash, oak, birch , has brought Niall and Brenda on a journey through wood-turning, basketmaking and into coppice skills demonstration and natural building.
Fuinseog Woodland Crafts are invited to attend numerous events annually for craft and coppice skills demonsrations and/or workshops eg pole-lathe turning, shaving horse demonstration, hurdle-making, basket-making, treadle fretsaw work.
