Julia Clarke lives with her family in the heart of the Gaeltacht in South West County Kerry. After earning her Degree in Combined Studies in Art and Design from the University of Ulster in Belfast, she relocated to County Kerry to establish her studio and business.

From her studio, Julia handcrafts each piece using stoneware clay, either on the wheel or through hand-building techniques. Her two main collections draw inspiration from the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside and coast, reflecting her deep connection to the environment.

As a family-run business, you’ll often find her sons, Tadhg and Peadar, in the studio, busy creating their own unique works. Julia’s commitment to craftsmanship and family is at the heart of everything she does, making each piece a true labor of love.
