On June 15th, children and families gathered for an unforgettable day of textile art, led by the talented Niki Collier. Morning Workshop: Celtic Knots - Hidden Timeless Messages
In the morning session, young artists aged 7 to 12 had a fantastic time creating their own Celtic knots. Guided by Niki Collier, a highly experienced felt maker, the children learned the ancient art of felt making and discovered the intriguing hidden messages within Celtic knots and interlacing, using inspirations from the Book of Kells.

The workshop was a delightful blend of storytelling and artistry. Niki shared fascinating insights about her materials, including silk and yarn dyed with local plants and wool.
