Julia’s Oak Torc

Julia, the maker's beloved grandmother, came from the family’s ancestral home in a tree-rich landscape deep in the heart of County Galway. She carried with her a deep pride for her homeland, a place known as Polldarracha – meaning 'oak hollow' – where ancient oak trees once stood in quiet majesty.

Displaying the ancient Celtic Ogham symbol for oak, this piece is a handmade solid fused glass with 925 sterling silver torc and clip; lovingly crafted with unique variations in each piece.
