Culture Night is Ireland's yearly celebration of its rich cultural heritage by creating a country-wide evening of free creative events, workshops and entertainment for all of the family. 

As part of Culture Night 2018, we held a crash course in Abstract Painting with Visual Artist and Educator Kate Murtagh Sheridan here at the Leitrim Design House. Kate specialises in ceramics, painting and drawing. She is also a qualified Art teacher with a TUSLA child safety Certificate.

Kate brought participants of all ages on an artistic journey through colour, shape and emotion using music to influence feeling and mood while painting a masterpiece. We at the Leitrim Design House were absolutely delighted to host such a fun creative event for local families.
