Aisling’s work is rooted in a deep concern for the destruction of our environment and the loss of biodiversity, a focus that has shaped her practice for over 30 years. Her creative work centres on plants and insects through botanical painting, drawing and image making. Much of her work is closely connected to place, reflecting the landscapes and living ecology of Leitrim.
