Gorse Flower Kerchief

Designed in Leitrim, hand dyed in studio, and knit in Dublin, the Gorse Flower Kerchief is a small, luminous piece shaped by place and process.

The yarn begins as a mohair tweed wool, traditionally spun by Donegal Yarns. Each piece is then hand dyed in studio, building a vivid yellow drawn from the brightness of gorse in bloom, that unmistakable colour that cuts through hedgerows and hillsides across the West.

The scale is intentional. It can be tied simply or worn loose, bringing a sharp lift of colour against cream Aran, dark wool, or in contrast with denim. It feels both grounded and bright, something rooted in landscape but expressive in finish.

Each kerchief carries slight variation from the hand dyeing process, making every piece individual.
