Annie Gambrill - Sustainable Textile Workshops

in News

We're very excited to bring Annie Gambrill to Leitrim this summer to facilitate 4 workshops over 4 weeks as part of our summer workshop series. Annie is an experienced teacher with a unique vision as an ambassador for heritage crafts and teacher dedicated to the preservation and revival of traditional textile skills.  Her practice under the name of 'Gambrill & Lam' grows directly from the land she works in Mayo, grounded in an intimate understanding of fibre as a living material.

We were hugely impressed with Annie when she came along to one of our networking and training events. Her enthusiasm and unique approach and knowledge in heritage crafts got us thinking about ways of how we can work with her and how we could share her skills with the Leitrim Community. She really inspired this summer series of workshops, so we're very excited to see them take place under her guidance.

Places are limited, booking is essential. Sign up to our mailing list and follow us on social media to be the first to hear about our upcoming workshops!
