Irish Whispers is a small, independent studio run by visual artist and contemporary jewellery designer Magdalena Weber, based in County Westmeath, Ireland. Her background is in Fine Art, followed by training in silversmithing and jewellery design. In 2022 she began working with resin and natural materials, developing a distinctive practice inspired by Irish landscapes. She now works full-time from her studio, creating limited and one-of-a-kind jewellery for craft fairs, festivals and retail. At the end of 2025, she expanded her practice into a limited company dedicated to developing two core jewellery collections for the Irish and international market.
Each and every piece is imagined, created and finished sympathetically by hand. The studio is based in the heart of Ireland, beneath the ancient Hill of Uisneach, a place long regarded as the Sacred Centre of Éire. Surrounded by quiet fields, forests and changing skies, this landscape shapes not only the work itself, but also the rhythm in which it is made.

Today, Irish Whispers unfolds through two distinct collections, each rooted in a different Irish landscape. Forest Whispers, the Irish forest moss collection, grows from the stillness of inland woodlands, shaded paths, damp earth and moss-covered ground. Connemara Whispers draws inspiration from the wild Atlantic coast of Connemara, where sand, shells and shifting light meet the sea.

Each collection is inspired by the Irish land, its textures, colours and quiet presence. One of the most constant companions is moss. In Ireland, moss is everywhere. It grows slowly and generously, softening stone, trees and ground alike. Some varieties have long been used for healing, others are edible, all carrying a deep sense of resilience and life.
This living material, gathered with care, becomes the starting point for many Irish Whispers pieces. Preserved in resin, these natural elements are not altered or transformed, but simply held, their colour, structure and softness gently paused in time.
Irish Whispers is not about recreating landscapes, but about carrying fragments of them. Each piece is a memory, shaped by place and time, made to be worn and kept for many years to come.
