Originally from Drumreilly in Co Leitrim, Paula McGovern is the founder and maker behind Wizard & Grace Wellbeing, an Irish brand built on a deeply personal story. When Paula developed an allergy to synthetic fragrances, she found herself unable to find truly natural candles in a market flooded with artificial scents. Rather than settle, she set about creating her own: candles that were not only beautiful to burn, but genuinely good for you.
Every Wizard & Grace candle is hand-poured by Paula using 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils and a sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax blend, clean-burning, low-toxic, and kind to the environment. Each of the eight signature candles is crafted around a specific wellbeing intention: Courage, Gratitude, Peace, Renew, Rest, Flow, Enchant, and Believe. She has also created Pulse Point Oils for on the go aromatherapy and a new range - Sparks by Wizard & Grace which comprises the same high quality candles with a humoruous observation on life.
Paula's approach goes beyond fragrance. Drawing on the science of aromatherapy, each bespoke essential oil blend is thoughtfully formulated to actively support mood, mindset, and wellbeing, helping you unwind, focus, sleep better, or simply feel more like yourself.
