Bernice Cooke is the multi-talented candle-maker, artist and perfumer behind Canvas to Candle. In 2010 Bernice started out candle-making at her kitchen-table.
“I have always been a creative person, right back to when I was eight and I won my first art competition. I am a self-taught artist and I love to draw and paint iconic buildings, people, landscapes and places of interest from here and all over the world.”
Canvas to Candle produces three main product lines; wax souvenir candles, fragrant scented soy candles in beautiful bespoke travel tins; perfume balms infused with a unique blend of fragrance. Each product tells the story behind the scent.
Inspired by Irish castles, landmarks, famous poets and playwright, each image is 100% original with artwork designed, illustrated and produced in Bernice’s studio. All candles are handmade in small batches to ensure only the best quality. This carefully created range of products can take you on a fragrance journey and invoke many happy memories.
