Growing up amidst the beauty of the North West of Ireland in Lovely Leitrim, this Irish Illustrator was immersed in a world of creativity from a young age. As the youngest of five girls in a household brimming with artistic talent, Emma found herself captivated by the endless possibilities of art and design that surrounded her. With her sisters constantly engrossed in drawing or making beautiful things, she felt inspired to follow in their footsteps, aspiring to one day match their skill and passion.
Fuelled by this familial influence, Emma embarked on a journey of self-discovery through the realms of art and design. Initially drawn to the world of fashion, she pursued a degree at fashion college then explored further with enrolling in an art college.
With a solid foundation in both fashion and art, Emma ventured into the world of graphic design, securing a position as a graphic artist in the film industry. In between all of these things she never stopped drawing.
Today, Emma Loughlin channels her boundless creativity into a diverse array of projects, from her ongoing 'The 32 Series,' which beautifully encapsulates the essence of each county in Ireland, to taking on commissions.
