From her little light-filled studio in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ruth draws and paints imaginative illustrations.
She uses quality ink, pens and watercolour paints as well as the finest of watercolour papers to produce her delightful range of greeting cards and prints.
Her ethos is simple: she creates 'cards you want to keep'.
Established in 2009, following the birth of her first child, Ruth left behind a career as a graphic designer/production manager in one of Ireland’s best design agencies to establish her own business. She followed her dream so that she could do what she loved, each and every day.
Duck Blue has grown steadily and her range fine-tuned through experience, which enables her card collections to be enjoyed across the globe. Thanks to their simplicity, her designs are universally appealing and appreciated by people of all ages.
Duck Blue is proud to be a member of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland & Ruth can guarantee all her cards & prints are designed, printed and packaged in her Studio in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
